Ahmets Turkish restaurant is a family owned and operated business. Currently it's restaurants are located at Southbank and Bulimba.

Southbank

Ahmets at Southbank is owned and operated by husband & wife team, Hasan and Suzan Gencerler, and their son Harun Gencerler. Years of working together has made Ahmets a success story. Local, interstate and overseas customers regard Ahmets as one of Brisbanes' most favourable restaurants.

The key to there success is the quality, the atmosphere, the experience, the service, the ambience and the smile it leaves on the customers faces when they leave. There aim is to make you experience Turkey. As though you have just been on trip to turkey and back. Hasan the entrepruner. Suzan, a woman with great skills, knowledge and leadership within the industry. Harun, the staff co-ordinator and manager. All have combined there knowledge to bring you a wonderful place to dine.

Bulimba

Ahmets in Bulimba is the new addition. Owned and operated by other family members, Erso Isik (Eddie) and Ulku Isik.
 

Due to the success of Southbank Ahmet’s the second restaurant in Oxford Street in Bulimba was opened. Ulku, with financial accreditations, manages the businesses finances and day to day activities. The new restaurant has the same authentic look as South Bank however with a modern twist, giving customers a choice. 

Eddie has wealth of experience gained from over 14 years in the food and IT industry. As a cafe owner, and manager of large scale IT projects, he ensures Ahmet’s at Bulimba runs smoothly
so the customers can experience slice of Turkey locally without
having to purchase an overseas ticket to Turkey. With all the great experience and the passion that comes with each family member, you are bound to leave the restaurant with a big smile.
